Window Unit:
Place the Window Unit near a window where you get signal
Coverage Unit:
Place the Coverage Unit in the center of your home or office.

  • <h3>Step 1. Setup the Window Unit</h3><p>Use your mobile phone to find the location with the best 3G signal (look for the 3G icon on the display of your phone). This is usually next to a window, and upstairs locations tend to be better than downstairs locations. Once you have found the best 3G signal, place the Window Unit in that area and plug it in. You should notice the green bars which indicate your signal level. The more bars shown the better service you will get, so try moving the Window Unit to a couple of different spots to see where you get the most bars.</p>
  • <h3>Step 2. Setup the Coverage Unit</h3><p>The farther away you place the coverage unit from the Window unit the better the system will work; of course it is possible to place the Coverage Unit so far away that it cannot communicate with the Window Unit. If this happens, a red icon will illuminate indicating that you need to move the Coverage Unit closer to the Window unit. Plug the Coverage unit in and wait until green status light on the right of the device stops flashing, this could take several minutes. At this point you should see a green icon indicating that the unit is working properly. Note the number shown on the display, this number provides you with an indication of the location quality. The higher the number the better, so try placing the coverage unit in several locations to get the highest number. This is usually achieved by moving the Coverage Unit farther away from the Window unit; if you have a two story building and you have placed the Window Unit upstairs, try placing the coverage unit one floor below.</p>
