Wilson 804002 Wireless Amplifier for Nextel / iDEN

The Wilson 804002 is a wireless iDEN in-vehicle repeater with 40db gain. This amplifier is specially designed for the legacy Nextel iDEN network. It will only work with iDEN networks, for other networks use the equivalent dual band version.

Please note:This iDEN product amplifies only the 800MHz band. Some iDEN systems require both 800MHz and 900MHz. Before purchasing any iDEN product from this website, please contact us (1-800-761-3041, 730am to 5pm PST) or your carrier to find out which frequency you need.

The amplifier needs an external antenna to work.

Kit details:

The amplifier is powered through your cigarette lighter socket with the aid of the supplied power adapter. An AC power supply is optionally available should this be required.

This 804002 comes with an interior low profile antenna that will rebroadcast the amplified cell signals throughout your car or truck. This amplifier also comes with the option of attaching directly to your mobile phone through a wired connection and velcro attachment. When used in this way as a 'direct connect' amplifier it may prove more reliable as the antenna is contiguous to your phone. However, the drawbacks are that the wireless functionality is sacrificed in this mode of usage e.g. only one phone can be connected at a time and you lose the mobile freedom of the wireless mode.
