> Product Overview

The 859902 Wilson surge protector is an in-line surge protector that can be used with all Wilson external antennas. The unit is installed in-line between the antenna and the amplifier. Protection is given by a gas tube element, which can be replaced to provide multi strike capacity. A ground lug and terminal are supplied directly on the protector housing.

The Wilson 859988 is identical, but is 75 ohm for use with Wilson's 75 ohm repeaters. Currently these are the 801247 SignalBoost DT, the 801262 DB PRO and the 801265 AG PRO. Use the 859958 for these amplfiers, and the 859902 for all others.

The protector does not connect directly with the amplifier, and a small length of cable is needed. You can use the Wilson400 coaxial cable (859902) or RG-6 (859988) for this purpose.

The lightening protector must be grounded.
