Product Overview

The add-on internal cellular antenna kit allows you to add a second internal antenna, compatible with many of our repeater systems. The kit comes with a 2 ft. coaxial jumper cable to feed the signal from the amp into the splitter. Two internal antennas can then be connected to the splitter via coaxial cable: one of these antennas is in your original repeater system and one is included in this add-on kit.

Having two internal antennas is useful in many situations e.g. if you wish to cover two rooms (and the walls are too thick to let signal through) or if the profile of your room requires it - see the picture below where two internal antennas are suited to an L-shaped room.

Details

Note: This add-on antenna is only suitable for higher performing systems as the signal is being shared and there is additional attenuation in the splitter and extra cables. Amplifiers with 60dB are recommended for this, but 50dB Amplifiers should be suitable if the signal strength outside your building is reasonably strong.
