Product Description
The zBoost Exterior Antenna Upgrade is for use in homes or offices with particularly poor cell reception. Designed to be mounted outside, the Antenna Upgrade is a directional antenna, which when pointed in the direction of the nearest cell tower can dramatically improve cell reception.
The kit includes two panel antennas, one for the 800Mhz band and one for the 1900Mhz band. Both antennas are directional, and so need to be pointed toward the area of strongest signal. This can be determined by slowly rotating the antennas, and checking the performance on your cell phone. Directional antennas like the zBoost YX039 give superior signal reception, and increase the coverage area of your zBoost kit.
The zBoost YX039 is designed for the zBoost YX510 repeater kit. The antennas are designed to be pole mounted to provide optimum signal reception.
