Product Overview

The Wilson Electronics 801165 is a 65dB amplifier suitable for large home or office environments. The amplifier works on the 800MHz band - to see if the 800MHz band covers your network please click here for our frequency search tool.

The Wilson 801165 is the most powerful amplifier offered by Wilson Electronics; the 65dB of gain can can be used to cover a large area, or can compensate for very weak donor signal in areas with particularly poor signal. When combined with antennas and cables to form a complete kit the Wilson Electronics 801165 Amplifier can cover areas up to 10,000 sq ft. An additional pre-amplifier can increase the coverage area to 15,000 sq ft.


How it works:

The external donor antenna is placed in the area of best signal (usually outside, or on top of the building). This antenna collects cellular signal and sends it through a cable to the amplifier. The Wilson 801165 amplifier boosts the signal, and then sends the amplified signal through a cable to the indoor antenna. The total coverage area depends on the donor signal strength and the antennas (and any pre-amplifiers) used. The Wilson 801165 amplifier can be used by up to 15 phones or data cards simultaneously.

The amplifier is sold here individually, and as a complete kit. The kit contains all the antennas and cables you need to boost signal in your home/office. On the Wilson Custom page you can customize the kit by changing both antennas and cable lengths to suit your needs.

Description

The standard 801165 kit includes a directional building antenna, which is points towards the nearest signal source and features 10dB of gain. The kit comes with a 2 lengths of cable - one 20ft and one 50ft. Overall the kit can cover up to 10,000 sq ft.

The 801165 Ultimate repeater kit has an additional amplifier which can extend coverage up to 15,000 sq ft.

Description

This kit adds a pre-amplifier to the standard 801165 kit (see above). The pre-amplifier adds 15db, creating an 80dB system capable of covering up to 15,000 sq ft. . This kit is the most powerful available on our site, and is ideal for large areas in very weak signal.
