The amplifier in this kit is the Wilson 811210 SignalBoost dual band amplifier. This amplifier allows you to improve your cellular signal wirelessly, covering an area up to 3-5 feet away from the antennas. The amplifier is dual band, working on both the 800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies. It can therefore be used with all US carriers (inc. AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-mobile etc) except Nextel.

The external antenna included in this kit is the Wilson 301103 12" magnetic mount antenna. This antenna feature 5-6dB of gain, and has the highest power of any vehicle antenna on our site. The antenna is designed to mount easily on the metal roof of your car/RV, and is spring mounted to reduce impact damage.

The kit also includes Wilson's exciting new Cell Phone Cradle Plus (301146), a versatile car cradle with a built-in antenna. The cradle passes the amplified signal onto the cell phone, and with hands-free options allows drivers to keep both hands on the wheel when using their cell phones, greatly increasing safety. The cradle can fit any cellular phone, and when the phone is docked supports any hands-free device, including ear-buds and Bluetooth products. The cradle includes multiple mounting options: either on the console, dashboard or windshield.

The amplifier is powered through your cigarette lighter socket with the aid of the supplied power adapter. An AC power supply is optionally available should this be required.
