Note: These are reviews of the Clear Voice 1900, but can be considered applicaple to the Clear Voice 800 as they are the same amplifier - the only difference is the frequency they operate on.

I had minimal reception in my home office (1/2 bar). I was able to local a strong signal in my attic and I placed the repeater on my office's slanted cathederal ceiling on the attic side. Reception has improved to 3to4 bars in my office. Problem solved and I didn't have to do any drilling to install.

While I was debating the need to break down and once again pay for a land-line in our new house,(signal was very weak if there at all)I recieved this product for Christmas and now have better reception (4 to 5 bars) than I was hoping for! This present will save me money for years to come!

I had 1-2 bars of coverage on verizon outside my house, and 0 inside previously. I placed the Clear Voice in my attic, and now I can, indeed, make and receive calls from inside the house. The coverage is satisfactory (2 - 3 bars) and have had one dropped call - but it worked fine when we reconnected - The situation is much improved. My advice for those of you like me (with 1-2 bars at best outside your home) is to consider this as a way to get decent indoor coverage, but for me this hasn't made my reception perfect - just much improved.
