First, this is an EXCELLENT site. Excellent information, buyers guides, information out the waazoo and a great, complete kit. I bought the kit, for my house, probably more than I needed, but I am very happy with it.
It arrived promptly with everything I needed to install except the antenna mast. Instructions were great. I am no super techie, but I had it installed, base station on top of kitchen cabinets, antenna, about 10 feet away on top of cabinets, fished coax to attic, placed the antennas high in the attic, hooked it all up, and voila, from 1 bar previously to 4-5 bars throughout much of the house, in 90 minutes.
Overall very satisfied.
I had 1-2 bars outside my house and zero/no service in my basement. After installation I have 2-3 bars in my house and 5 bars in the basement where I mounted the patch antenna! I will be looking at a splitter for my first floor now to boost that as well.
