Verizon Wireless

Verizon makes use of both the 800 and 1900 Mhz frequency band in their cellular network. To find the correct repeater for you, we provide some advice bellow. You may like to bear in mind that our repeater kits come with a money back guarantee, should you select a repeater that supports the wrong frequency.

Our Advice

Verizon's cellular network is a complicated mix between the 800 and 1900 mhz areas. However, in most cases we have found that (outside Texas and Florida) Verizon uses the 800 Mhz band for voice services, so you can be reasonably assured that 800 Mhz repeater will in fact work despite the Verizon Network complexities. In Texas and Florida, Verizon generally utilizes the 1900 Mhz frequency band. Furthermore, Verizon generally uses the 1900 Mhz frequency band for its EVDO broadband data service (for both cell phones and broadband data cards) so a 1900 Mhz will generally be sufficient for this service.

In General: For normal voice coverage - an 800 Mhz repeater (or dual band repeater) is probably right for you. For voice coverage in Texas or Florida, or to improve the EVDO broadband data service - a 1900 Mhz repeater (or a dual band repeater) is probably right for you.

Contact Verizon

If you manage to get in contact with a Verizon representative who is knowledgeable on this subject, this can be a reliable way of determining the whether the network uses 800 or 1900 Mhz frequency in your area.

Dual Band Repeaters

A dual band repeater will operate on both the 800 and 1900 Mhz frequency bands and therefore there is no need to determine which frequency your network is using in your area. This can also be useful if you have multiple users who use different network providers that happen to operate on different frequencies. Try the following dual band repeaters:
