Product Description
The Hawking Wifi Kit Extreme includes a WiFi adapter, 4 ft antenna and cable for superior wifi signal reception. Ideal when you are fair from the main router - e.g. on a campground.
How It Works
The Hawking WiFi Adapter plugs in to a USB port on your laptop or PC. It comes with a standard 6 inch antenna which can be used when you have strong WiFi signal available. In low signal areas, this antenna can be detached and a cable screwed in place. The other end of the cable attaches to the 4ft Hi-Gain Antenna, which can be mounted in an area of stronger signal - e.g. the roof of a home or RV. The high gain antenna can receive very weak WiFi signals. The kit is ideal if you are trying to connect to a distant WiFi network - e.g. if you are sharing internet with a neighbour, or you are in an RV on a campground.
