The Microlab JA series Coaxial Jumper Cables are built for reliability and low-PIM performance. PIM, or passive intermodulation, is a form of distortion that occurs in devices like antennas as a result of nonlinearities in the system.
Higher PIM can be caused by dissimilar materials, design flaws, or corrosion by weather or age. PIM can cause significant disruption to system performance. The JA-10MX ensures good intermodulation performance via a combination of controlled manufacture, low PIM cable, and tri-metal plated connectors.
