The Waveform Dome Antenna is a wideband omni-directional ceiling antenna. It offers 3.0 - 5.5 dBi of gain and covers frequencies from 600 MHz up to 6000 MHz.
Further testing revealed this antenna provides an impressive gain of up to 5.0 dBi all the way to 6000 MHz, exceeding it's original specification of up to only 2700 MHz!
Omni-directional antennas receive signal from all directions, and so the antenna needs to be installed in a vertical position in the area of strongest signal.
It is a 50 ohm antenna that will rebroadcast boosted signal for every major cell network in the US and Canada. The antenna is made of white UV-protected ABS plastic and is suitable for indoor use only.
The antenna has N-Female connectors.
The antenna needs to be mounted to the ceiling for best results and you will need to run a cable to the back of the ceiling. Ceiling mount equipment is included. You will need to drill a hole of 35mm in the ceiling and screw the fixing nut to fasten the antenna on the ceiling. The ceiling’s thickness should be no more than 20mm / 0.78 inches.
