Wilson Electronics Company Info
Wilson Electronics are perhaps the most established brand name in the cellular repeater industry with experience in the wireless communications market that spans almost 40 years. Wilson specializes in RF antenna and amplifier research and development, which has resulted in a large product selection of cellular amplifiers, antennas and other RF components that can significantly improve cellular reception and transmission. The Wilson Electronics headquarters is situated in St. George, Utah but they operate with product dealers in all 50 US States as well as in Canada, Mexico and South/Central America. All Wilson Electronics cellular repeaters, amplifiers and antennas are manufactured in the US.
Wilson Electronics are known for the quality of their cell phone amplifiers and antennas. Their amplifiers and antennas may come at a premium to other cellular amplifier products advertising similar technical specifications, but this is generally compensated by higher amplifier performance and reliability. Wilson have extensive testing facilities that include an anechoic chamber and network analyzers to fine tune the performance of their cell phone antennas and amplifiers. A very wide selection of cellular amplifier products are offered including: iDen wireless amplifiers, in-vehicle wireless amplifiers, in-line signal boosters and large building 60db wireless amplifiers.
More recently, we have seen Wilson take an interesting new direction with an introduction of a number of dual band cellular repeaters such as the SOHO Wireless Amplifier and the SignalBoost Repeater Kit. Both the SOHO amplifier and SIgnalBoost are exciting new products that we expect to be very popular among consumers in the cellular repeater market. Also, Wilson Electronics have recently announced a new Chief Operating Officer in the form of Joe Banos, a man with over 30 years experience in the cellular amplifier industry. In the press release from Wilson Electronics they said that Banos will help direct Wilson's strategic growth while overseeing the company's day-to-day operations'.
